The Vine Retreat is your green escape to rural Cambodia. 

Surrounded by the forested hills of Phnom Voar or Vine Mountain, the Vine Retreat a truly unique experience in the Cambodian countryside in Kep Province. The open air veranda opens to a panoramic view of the green Cambodian landscape. A trip to the sea is just a short drive a way for those yearning for some sun and sand on Rabbit Island. 

The Vine Retreat is an ecologically conscientious bed and breakfast with an organic farm. We take pride is serving you local Khmer Cuisine from fruits and vegetables harvested from our own gardens. Enjoy our pride and joy, the aromatic pungent spiciness of the renown Kampot pepper grown from our own pepper plantation. 

Location and Setting

The Vine Retreat is located in the rural village of Chamcar Bei in Kep province, Cambodia. Surrounded on one side by the forests of Vine Mountain, the Vine Retreat is located among the pepper plantations, the cashew and durian orchards of the Phnom Voar Natural Tourism Area on Pepper Road about 15 km from the town of Kep. 

With the Gulf of Thailand only 10 or 12 km away as the crow flies, the ocean still dominates the weather and moderates the temperature with evening breezes and temperate nights. The ocean is visible in the distance as are the headlands of Hatien in Vietnam. All of this combines to make our guest house the perfect rural get-a-way and chill out place just a short distance for the great attractions of Kep and Kampot.
